bb.q Global (USA) Launches 30th Anniversary Global Promotion in the Heart of Times Square, New York
bb.q Global (USA) is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a major brand promotion on the One Times Square billboard, one of the world’s most iconic advertising venues. The campaign will run for about three months, from September 1 to November 23,
airing for three minutes every hour, totaling 72 minutes a day.
This advertisement, displayed on the 25-story full-front billboard at the center of Times Square—famous for the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop—will serve as a symbolic stage to showcase bb.q’s identity and 30-year history to global consumers.
Coinciding with the U.S. holiday season, when major liquor brands execute large-scale marketing campaigns, the promotion is expected to maximize brand visibility. As a landmark event, the campaign will captivate global audiences with vibrant and dynamic video content.
The campaign consists of three video productions :
1. First Video
: Highlights the golden sheen of olive oil and the crispy texture of fried chicken, enhanced with dynamic effects of sauces pouring
from the top and bottom of the screen to intensify visual immersion.
2. Second Video
: Features a playful sequence where each bite of chicken doubles the number of people, illustrating people around the world enjoying bb.q chicken together. It concludes with a striking image of the Statue of Liberty holding a drumstick.
3. Third Video
: Uses a miniature concept, depicting tiny tools and researchers carrying ingredients, frying them,
and plating dishes in a toy-like production style, emphasizing creativity and innovation.
A bb.q spokesperson stated, “This Times Square advertisement commemorating our 30th anniversary will serve as a milestone for bb.q’s leap into becoming a leading global chicken brand. In particular, it holds symbolic meaning as we showcase our identity
and innovation on the world’s stage in New York’s Times Square.”
