Genesis BBQ Global and LPGA Champion Hae-ran Ryu Host Inspiring Golf Clinic for Junior Players in the U.S.

 

  On June 3, Genesis BBQ Global joined forces with LPGA rising star Hae-ran Ryu to host a special golf clinic for aspiring junior golfers in the United States, following Ryu’s first tour victory of the 2024 LPGA season.

 

  Organized by Genesis BBQ Global, the event offered a rare and meaningful opportunity for talented youth golfers in the U.S. to receive hands-on coaching from an active LPGA professional.

To lead the clinic, the company invited Ryu, who recently captured the spotlight by maintaining the lead throughout the Black Desert Championship and securing a commanding win.

 

 

  The event drew over 150 attendees, including the Consul General of New York, golf fans, and members of the local community, further underscoring the significance of the occasion.

 

  During the clinic, Ryu provided personalized one-point lessons to four junior players, carefully selected from schools across New York and New Jersey.

She also took time to engage with fans in a signing session, creating lasting memories for participants of all ages.

 

 

 

 

  In addition to the clinic, Genesis BBQ Global organized a shotgun-style round of golf—where all holes are played simultaneously—allowing junior players and attendees to connect with Ryu and one another in a more dynamic and interactive setting.

 

  To ensure a first-class experience, Genesis BBQ Global covered all event-related expenses, including course rental and catering.

Commemorative golf merchandise such as caps and balls were distributed to all attendees, while scholarships were awarded to the junior golfers, demonstrating the company’s unwavering support for the future of the sport.

 

  Reflecting on the event, Ryu shared, “When I was younger, the belief and encouragement I received from others made all the difference. I truly believe the young players I met today will grow into exceptional athletes.
