bb.q Chicken Opens Cumbres Store in Monterrey, Expanding Business in Central America

bb.q Chicken has opened a new store in Monterrey, one of northern Mexico’s major industrial and economic centers, just one month after entering the Mexican market. The new Cumbres store is the brand’s second location in Mexico, following its first store in Mexico City last month. With stores now in both Mexico City, the country’s capital and largest consumer market, and Monterrey, a key economic hub in northern Mexico, bb.q Chicken is quickly expanding its presence in the country. Monterrey is one of northern Mexico’s leading industrial and economic cities, with a metropolitan population of more than 5 million. It is the capital of Nuevo León, a state located near Texas in the United States. The region has strong manufacturing and export industries and is home to many major Mexican and global companies.

Nuevo León is also known for its strong purchasing power. According to a 2024 survey by Mexico’s National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), Nuevo León ranked first among Mexico’s 32 states in average household income in urban areas. The new bb.q Chicken Cumbres store is located in Sikara Distrito Urbano, a mixed-use development in Cumbres, a major residential and commercial area in western Monterrey. The complex includes residential, retail, and office spaces, giving the store access to local residents as well as customers visiting the area for shopping and dining.

The store covers 184.74 square meters and has a total of 95 seats, including 48 indoor seats and 47 terrace seats. With nearly half of the seating located on the terrace, the store provides a comfortable space for families, friends, and office workers to enjoy bb.q Chicken and other K-food menu items. With the opening of the Cumbres store, bb.q Chicken has established locations in two of Mexico’s key markets: Mexico City, the country’s largest consumer market, and Monterrey, a major economic center in the north. bb.q Chicken plans to continue reaching more local customers in these key cities and gradually expand into other major cities across Mexico.
