bb.q Korea Surpasses 300th BSK Store in Just 1 Year!


 

    BBQ has opened 300th BSK (BBQ Smart Kitchen) store since its official launch. The BSK model, a delivery and packaging store with a small-capital investment cost, was first introduced in June 2020. As the post-COVID era and non-contact trends hit all over the world, the bb.q BSK model quickly became an icon of start-ups in Korea. It has achieved the 100th store opening in six months and 200th store last March in sequence. 

The growing demand for non-face-to-face consumption and food delivery service due to COVID-19, the BSK model, which can utilize external delivery platforms and digital marketing, is not only lower initial investment and fixed cost, but also highly efficient in store operation and management. 


 *. The Application of 'The Youth Smile Project'


Using the strengths of BSK model, bb.q implements the model for ‘The Youth Smile Project’, which provides the business basis for young generation to succeed as entrepreneurs. As Hong-Geun Yoon, the chairman of Genesis BBQ Group, said, “You give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. I want to create opportunities for young generation to challenge with passion in this food service industry.”, the goal of this project is to help participants stand on their own feet through initial support and management, and to help them grow into successful entrepreneurs.

 

Like finding a new breakthrough with BSK model to overcome the employment crisis caused by COVID-19, bb.q will continue to provide active support for co-prosperity through constant development.
